Driveway Permits

The County Engineer issues driveway permits for driveways on County Roads. Driveways on Township Roads are handled by Township Trustees and driveways on State Routes are handled by ODOT.

All driveway permits on County Roads must be preliminarily approved by the County Engineer’s Office prior to construction, then inspected for final approval after construction. Once final approval is issued, the applicant can take the approved driveway permit to Hocking County Mapping & Drafting for issuance of a house number.
