Hocking
County has 412.82 miles of township roads, 210.71 miles of county
roads and more than 2241 signs. In addition to day to day
maintenance, the Hocking County Engineer is responsible for
repair, widening, resurfacing, and construction of county roads.
The County Engineer serves as a consultant to the townships for
their construction activity.
Bridges:
Hocking County has 271 bridges. In
addition to maintenance, design and construction of bridges, the
County Engineer is responsible for the inspection and inventory of
each on a yearly basis. This includes all bridges within the
county, municipalities and townships.
